"EFFECTS
OF A FRUIT AND VEGETABLE SUPPLEMENT ON HEALTHY VOLUNTEERS"
Criteria for selecting the
healthy volunteers:
- Aged between 18 and 70 years
- No known illnesses or diseases
The volunteers were given 2 water-soluble sachets (3 g) a day for six weeks. Half the volunteers took the supplement, while the other half took a placebo (product free of functional ingredients). The randomized control trial was blinded, meaning that the volunteers were not aware of what they were taking, so as not to compromise the test results in any way. During the test period, their eating habits were not altered so as not to compromise the test results with other variables.
To check the product's effectiveness
compared to a placebo, by checking the plasma levels of the main active
ingredients contained in the product. The presence of a substance in the blood
is the most effective way of verifying the actual absorption of its
ingredients: this is because, in order to reach the main regions of the human
body and their target organs, substances must be carried by the blood.

The results showed a significant increase in some of the active ingredients present in Ricarica Plus that are particularly useful for the body's well-being:
A significant percentage increase was registered in the group treated with the supplement (up 21 % compared to pre-treatment levels).
Group B vitamins are essential for energy metabolism, and therefore provide the right boost when you need it.
A 25.6 % increase was registered after taking the supplement.
Folates are particularly useful to boost the immune system and to reduce fatigue.
The test results show that, after taking the supplement, the plasma level of folates increased by 59%.
Taking a fruit and vegetable supplement enriched with active ingredients such as vitamins B2, A and E and folic acid, leads to a statistically significant increase in the plasma level of antioxidants, vitamin B2 and folates. This shows that the product can be of great help to boost the body's well-being.
