abdominal bloating
Fennel, a herbaceous perennial which
originates in the Mediterranean regions, colours the fields with its umbrellas
of little yellow blooms, bearing aromatic fruits full of essential oil that
recall the taste of liquorice.
In addition to
the pleasant aromatic note that makes it ideal at any time of the day, Fennel
also boasts digestive properties, and is effective in regulating intestinal
motility. It is well-known and appreciated for its ability to reduce
fermentation and favour the physiological elimination of gas, with positive
effects on the annoying sensation of abdominal bloating.
Every
grandmother’s remedy for children: when a baby has gas in their stomach,
pick them up and hold them in a prone position, supporting their abdomen with
one hand. Once they have stopped crying, give them a bottle with a teaspoon of
soluble fennel infusion.
Soluble Fennel
