Properties
The Mint has important properties stomachic, choleretic, antispasmodic and carminative, for this it is used in the treatment of gastric disorders, related to poor digestion. Acting on metabolic processes also helps the liver function and intestines.
The Mint also has an action of general stimulation to the nervous system that determines invigorating activity, in addition to the antispasmodic effects, analgesic.
It is the essential oil on the heart of the pharmacological and therapeutic properties of mint that is expressed mainly due to the plant complex synergy. Mint are attributed tonic-eupeptic properties, carminative and mild analgesic properties that make it particularly useful in case of alteration of the functioning of the digestive tract.
Its action can be enhanced by combining the Mint with other plants that share the property as Melissa, Caraway, Fennel and Chamomile.
