Black Tea
Tea is the most widespread and appreciate drink in the world, linked to traditions, tastes and preparation methods that vary depending on the countries of origin. It is obtained from Camellia sinensis, evergreen plant that grows in tropical areas. During the preparation of black tea the picked leaves are fermented and during this step the leaves darken and the sharp and the typical aroma is produced.
The green tea leaves - just harvested - are rapidly dried and delicately crumbled. This process allows to maintain the green colour, the scent and the high content in polyphenols, which promote the healthy anti-oxidant properties of the green tea.
